White-Conveyors Mercury Order Assembly System

Product ID: OAS

White Conveyors newest addition to the patented Compu-Sort® line, The Mercury Order Assembly System (OAS), automatically sorts and assembles customer orders effortlessly. Integrated with any POS system, orders are assembled and ready for bagging. The standard Mercury OAS is configured with a single load station and 4 drop stations. The configuration can modified to accommodate additional drop stations and a second load station. Information is automatically imported from the POS system and utilized by the Mercury OAS computer interface. White Conveyors ADC is the perfect solution to expand your existing business, improve customer service and increase profits. The Process: Each previously identified garment has been and scanned into the POS system. As garments are finished at the applicable work station they are moved to the Mercury OAS. Running at 30 feet per minute, an operator can easily scan and load large quantities of garments on to the system. A single operator is all that is required for this order assembly system.
  1. The operator will be asked to "log on". This employee's ID Number will be sent to the POS System to log the employee's performance.
  2. By selecting the "Assemble Garments Button", the conveyor will reference and continually run at 30 feet per minute during training. Speed can be increased as operator gains experience.
  3. After the conveyor is referenced, the operator will be prompted to "Scan Garment ID".
  4. Once the first piece ID is scanned the customer information will appear on the screen. If this is the first piece to the order an invoice will print and a beeping noise will sound, the operator will take the invoice and place it over the hanger, then place the garment on the conveyor within the "Load Station".
  5. The operator will continue to scan and hang while the conveyor is rotating.
  6. When an order is complete, it is immediately delivered to one of the four drop stations with the dry-cleaning invoice attached to the first piece.
  7. If a second order is completed while the first order is being dropped it will be deposited on the second drop station. As orders are completed, a maximum of 4 orders can be dropped from the conveyor per revolution of the machine. The completed orders are delivered from the conveyor to a holding rail.
  8. On the holding rail all pieces from the order are deposited with additional orders being sequentially dropped until the rail is full.
  9. When sorting is complete, orders can be removed and taken to a bagging station.
